Custom built on your property with 1"x 4" pickets, various heights, styles and spacing are available in spaced picket fences. Ideal for child and animal containment, these 4' and 5' high fences may also be used as perimeter fences, dividing fences and pool enclosures. To set off entrance-ways, close off driveways and provide front yard fences, 3' and 4' high are recommended. Pickets and posts can range in style from simple dog ear, French Gothic and roof top pickets to dado and French Gothic posts. Capped posts and 6"x 6" posts are just a few of your many options.
Cedar or pressure treated pine, 6' high privacy fence with 1"x 6" boards, is the most popular enclosure for residential backyards and subdivision fencing. Basic dog ear fences, positive or negative scalloped fences, capped privacy with or without lattice toppers, all serve to provide privacy and security with varying degrees of decorative flair. 8' high is also available for maximum privacy or commercial applications, such as dumpster enclosures. Shadowbox and colonial style fence provide good alternatives when total privacy is not as important. 2-rail and 3-rail flat board fence is usually 3' and 4' high. Also known as "Ranch Rail", this fence is used to define property lines, divide areas and act as fall-protection along retaining walls. Also available as 2 or 3 rail, and more rustic in appearance, split rail fence is an excellent alternative where blending into a natural setting is important. Galvanized or black welded wire may be added to either type of fence to enhance child and pet containment. 5' high 4-rail ranch rail is also available where additional security is needed.
